JT4020 All Terrain
Part of the Mach 1 series of Jet Trac horizontal directional drilling systems, the Ditch Witch JT4020 All Terrain unit permits effective drilling, steering and backreaming in extreme conditions such as solid and broken rock, cobble, and gravel. It can effectively make installations to distances of 1000 feet (300 m) at a lower cost than is possible with larger, more expensive models which often require mud motors and reclamation systems.
KEY FEATURES:

Powered by a 185 hp (138 kW) turbocharged diesel engine, the JT4020 All Terrain generates 40,000 pounds (178 kN) of pullback and 5000 ft???lb (6780 N???m) spindle torque and up to 240 rpm rotation speed.

*Two onboard drilling fluid pump options provide high flow and work with a choice of separate Ditch Witch mixing systems.
*Exclusive Mach 1 electronic system simplifies operation and enhances overall performance.

*Dual-speed carriage allows faster travel during make-up and breakout.
*Hydraulic two-step pipeloader reliably adds and removes joints of pipe. Each joint is automatically lubricated prior to make-up.
*Heavy-duty vise wrenches.
*Hydraulic anchoring system secures the unit with up to four anchor positions.
*Exclusive drill frame feature allows setup at variable angles without raising tracks off the ground.
*Compact size allows easy loading/unloading and requires only minimal setup area.
-Operator Efficiency:
*Exclusive cruise control feature maintains operator's drilling settings to enhance efficiency and performance.
*All switches and gauges are positioned for convenient viewing and access.
*Electric-over-hydraulic variable-speed controls are touch sensitive. A single lever for both thrust/pullback and rotation helps reduce operator fatigue.
*Pivoting operator station.
