JT921
The power and enhanced hydraulic systems of the JT921 enables it to drill faster than any other HDD machine in its class. One pump is dedicated to drill pipe rotation, another to pullback and thrust, and a third to drilling fluid-which adds up to optimal hydraulic flow at all times. The JT921 does it all: powers itself and carries its own drill pipe and drilling fluid. The JT921 is a Fiber-to-the-Home contractor's dream.
KEY FEATURES:
-Outstanding horsepower (50 hp/77 kW) and hydraulic power provide the fastest cycle times of any units in their class, resulting in a greater number of FTTH, gas, water, or phone service installations per day.
-Designed to make short- to medium-length service line installations with pilot bores up to 4 inches (102 mm) and backream diameters up to 12 inches (305 mm), depending on soil conditions.
-A single lever operates both thrust and rotation functions, reducing operator fatigue.
-Pipe lubrication system is controlled by a foot pedal at the operator's station, simplifying drill pipe maintenance.
-Electronic system with tracker control enables the tracker operator to disable power to the drilling unit's thrust and rotation.
-Fluid Miser drill pipe uses less drilling fluid overall, which means less jobsite mess and cleanup.
-One-step anchoring system provides quick setup.
-Choice of a wide variety of drilling bits, backreamers and service line pulling tools.
